2. Read the experiment and write the problem in the form of a question on your word document you downloaded.
3. Write a hypothesis for your problem on your word document in If ............, then ....... form.
4. Click on the control group on the website and choose your flower type, flower pot, soil, and your detergent (if needed).
5. Click on the experimental group on the website and keep constant your flower type, flower pot, soil and your detergent. Be sure to include the variable in this group.
6. List the materials used in the experiment on your word document you downloaded.

7. Measure the height of each flower grown to the nearest .1 (1/10) cm in both the control group and the experimental group with the ruler provided.
a. Record the measurements in a data table that you create to represent the data. See Pink Directions Below.
b. Calculate the average height and record in your data table. To create a data table go to your word document. Go to: Table to Insert and select the number of rows and columns needed. Make sure to include units and label the columns on the table. Don't forget a title!
